The lucky winner of BIC's Back To School competition is now being driven to school in his very own car. Naturena resident and Grade 10 learner Mbuso Sithole (16) still can't believe that he is the proud owner of a four-seater TATA INDIGO , courtesy of BIC SA. Mbuso collected his car from TATA Kenilworth on April 7, just in time to celebrate Easter.

Bic Cristal Gel is a sure winner right across the range of super-smooth Bic Gel products. The overjoyed Yonela Bele from Cape Town and two of her buddies received the awesome news that they were winners too. When Bic called her with the remarkable news, Yonela could not believe her luck - she was now the proud owner of a trendy Vespa scooter. A huge bonus to this thrilling news was that her brother Sabelo Bele and best friend Ntlazane Mntwini would be zooming off with her on their very own Vespa scooters too. Imagine the astounding good fortune of winning not only one but three Vespa scooters!

Yonela was one of thousands who entered the Bic Buddies SMS competition, which offered a dazzling prize of three Vespa scooters - for the competition entrant and two friends.

Yonela SMS'd 'Bic Gel' to the competition line and was amazed to win first prize - three astonishing new Vespa scooters. There were also ten PlayStations up for grabs, each of which was won by a lucky Bic Buddies entrant.

The Bic Buddies competition was the focus of an energetic Bic Cristal Gel promotion, which saw a Bic team demonstrating and sampling super smooth Bic Cristal Gel writing instruments at ten university campuses around the country. The campus activation also included daredevil demonstrations and marvellous acts of courage and daring by South Africa's Brian Capper Supermoto Racing Champion and the Xtreme Riding Xhibitions team. Other promotional support appeared in more than 1500 stores and print advertisements in various magazine titles. In addition, Bic invested in cinema advertising to give Bic Cristal Gel even more support.
